False Iowa residency claim costs Tennessean $20,728

Clinton, Tenn. resident Theodore Davis, 44, pleaded guilty last week to four counts of illegal possession and taking of deer, one count of making false claims to obtain an Iowa resident deer-hunting license and one count of failure to report harvesting of a deer. Davis agreed to make a $5,000 donation to Turn In Poachers of Iowa, liquidate damages of $15,000 and pay fines of $728.
