Dave Staples, whose ambitious efforts toward establishing a "brick and mortar" National Archery Hall of Fame and Museum were realized with the opening of a facility in Springfield, Missouri four years ago, died in Bethlehem, Penn. on Tuesday at the age of 69. As a writer and public relations professional, Staples operated Images Group Public Relations with his wife, Cathy, and was well-known and highly respected among those in the shooting, hunting and outdoors industry.
