As many as 428 Idaho wolves may die this year under a plan approved by the Fish and Game Commission on Thursday. The mortality quota would include the total number of wolf deaths from natural causes, accidents, predation-control and hunter kills. The Commission also approved Sept. 15 as opening day of wolf-hunting season. In the Idaho Mtn Express.
