It's official: The 36-point whitetail taken Nov. 2 by Pennsylvania bowhunter Gerald Simkonis in Wildlife Management Unit 2B has scored Boone and Crockett 208 1/8 inches, surpassing Craig Krisher's 20-year standing state non-typical archery record 203 3/8.
